ok here is my current set up
2x seagate st3800815as in raid 0 (boot drives) 160gb total
2x seagate st3500641as in raid 0 (games and media) 1tb total
2x seagate st3500641as in raid 0 (downloads and os backup) 1tb total
ok so my problem is that i am getting to the point where i have filled the drives to capacity i have about 300gb spare spread over the 3 arrrays
i have 2 unused sata ports
i also have another pc that is used solely for cctv i am thinking of moving this over and doing away with the second machine
in due time i will be moving the os on to ssd but that won't be till later on in the year
i was thinking of getting 2 new drvies of atleast 1tb each
and moving data around with the possability of removing all but the os raid set up
what i am looking for is upgrade suggestions and what you think would be the optmal set up
id like to keep cctv/games/media/downloads seprate from each other
