I'm looking for a 500GB HDD. Super speedy, reliable and good for a RAID 0 array.
From what I can see its between:
Seagate 7200.12
Samsung F3
WD Caviar Black
WD RE4
The WD drives are perhaps a bit pricey but I don't mind paying extra for performance and reliability. I have heard that the F3 1TB is great but how are the 500GB in comparison? Would one 1TB HDD outperform a RAID 0 array of 500GB drives?
