My pc was mesh bought 18 months ago and came with what is clearly now a pretty poor HDD. Don't get me wrong, it functions perfectly well and has always run fine but it is slowwww.
It is a 500gb HDD and whilst I don't need much more I would probably go 1TB just for future proofing. I have recently upgraded to a Z68 ASrock Pro3 with an i5-2500k and 8gb DDR3.
What kind of speed increase will I notice in day to day applications and general use goning from a bog standard 500gb Sata II HDD to a 1TB SATA III 6gb/s w/32mb cache? Is it worth the £40 investment?
