Hdd woes.!

just recently, every so often (one every few days) my hard drive would just cut out, doesnt depend on what im doing, have played crysis for hours on end and everythings been fine, sometimes just happens when im listening to music on msn or something, nothing demanding.

the hdd activity led on the case just goes out and no noise comes from my drive, firstly i thought it would be a failing drive, (250gig seagate sata) but it also happens on my vista drive (80gig sata WD)

any ideas guys.?

you tried d/l software from their sites and running a test over the 2 of them ?

maybe try running hdtach (think thats what its called) see if the speeds etc seem to be running okay.

Check the power cables to you hard drives!
