So I had my monitor plugged in via HDMI briefly last week to test multi monitor setup and it worked fine.

Fast forward to today and it doesn't seem to be working at all.

I have updated the drivers since then but i rolled back to the drivers i was on at the time (373.06) and still nothing.

The monitor will show the boot sequence but promptly goes black and into standby as soon as thats over so it must be a windows/driver issue, any advice?

I used DDU and did a clean install and nothing.

Tried 3 different drivers now and the same every time. Windows doesn't see the screen if its connected via HDMI but still I see the boot sequence and can access the bios via HDMI, screen just turns off as soon as windows loads.

I have a feeling im being stupid but no matter what I do it wont work.....

Scroll the monitor inputs incase the monitor is switching.

Nope nothing, its connected via DVI since none of my monitors are HDMI capable.

My plan was to use the HDMI port into a dvi adapter so then my other 2 monitors could connect via DVI alongside it.

It worked a few weeks ago.....this is driving me crazy
