Hi I just bought a new TV SONY Bravia KD49XF7596BU 49" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV which I not used yet properly as ive no internet yet as its been turned on, on Monday as just moved into a new place and I didn't have internet already. Any way I have a 1080GTX graphic card and going to use the Oculus rift on it and the card has only 1 HDMI slot on. Would a HDMI splitter work if I put it in the Graphic card and then put the HDMI to HDMI into the TV and also have the rift in the splitter?.

Thanks.

It will work but I'm not sure if there are splitters than can do 4k at 60FPS. So I'd steer clear - however if the Rift only needs 1080p or HDMI 1.4, you may find you can use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. DP can happily convert to HDMI passively.

Google 'CSL - 4K Ultra HD Displayport to HDMI adapter', £9. Use it for the Rift. I use it and have recommended it to others on here who also use it.

I no some one said DVI to HDMI is outed but can I just use that if it just for using the rift or will it be better quality using the Displayport to HDMI adapter?. Will DVI have an impact on the rift?.
