Anybody getting one of these? and any reccomendations? i dont fancy having to keep switching my Elite and Ps3 cables over every time.

I don't have one for HDMI, but have used SCART ones in the past.

Should be able to pick one up pretty cheap, and being a digital signal it shouldn't compromise the signal quality when using the block :)

ok thanks ive seen a few, frome expensive to quite cheap, just wondering about picture quality, or are they all much the same?

I got one for £19.99, it allows 3 HDMI in, has a little sensor that i put on top of the TV so it can be hidden, it then allows switching. I have not had any problem using my PC and DVD on it (other than HDMI sound on DVD dosent work, goes through an amp anyway), but with PS3 i was getting sparklies, so i put that on its own HDMI socket (i have 3 on my tv anyway).

I bought the Joytech tri-linker HDMI switch, has 3 inputs remote etc and it works perfectly with a PS3 and PC. Cost about £30 or so and can powered from USB or its own PSU.

I bought a 4-input Logik one for 40 squid. Seems to get power through the HDMI itself, as there's no external PSU.

Very handy for switching between the PS3 and PC. Thinking of getting an HDMI upscaling digibox and new XBox to make use of the other two slots.

Picked up one off that Auction site **** for £19.99 supports 3 ports, manually switches and no PSU. No picture degradation and colour loss, I have My HD-E1 and my PS3 attached to my Tosh 37 inch in 1920x1080 format. The only downgrade I am finding is that my Toshiba HD-E1 HD DVD only plays up to 1080i. Thank goodness I have my Xbox360 connected to its own HD DVD player and outputs full 1080P via component. Now If I had the Elite I'd have that connected to the switch box and discard the component input.
They have come down a hell of a lot since they first came out. but these switch boxes were around £170. Like everything else. as soon as the market is flooded the lower the prices get.
