I am not surprised, at all. Quite normal and expected results.
What is surprising is where Vega 64 does lose all the gaming performance compared to GTX 1080 Ti.
I would ask AMD to tell us the reason for that.

My Monitor upgrade wont happen until OLED 1440p / 4k 144/... + HDR and FreeSync under £600 For now I very happy with my BenQ XL2730Z 144hz Freesync.

Same here, I'm on a 75hz IPS 1440UW monitor with good Freesync support so although I'm disappointed with RTG's offerings I'm going to wait until we finally get good high hz OLED Freesync2* Smart TV's before upgrading my monitor again.

* (Or Gsync2, FreeGee?)

I'm not sure if HDR is going to be a marketing point on future panels. It's like HDR should be standard in high definition panels anyway. Just like higher refresh rates are now becoming standard.
