I didnt revive the thread materanarama said:Holy old thread Batman!
If you're worried go with a mate, avoid quiet and dodgy areas and if you're on your own just be confident. If you're out late and you get any comments most of them will be ****** up people out for the night that are just trying to be funny. A bit of humorous banter usually works better than a **** off.
cyKey said:Wow old thread. Basically no, I don't feel bothered. Unless you setup a camera and tripod infront of say 10 or more chavs you won't have a problem.

I would still like to say that all your shots are really fantastic, you've not only got an excellent eye for a good shot but your pp skills are superbbbbb.
Truly an inspiration

I've been around Liverpool City Centre and the outskirts at different times of the day and, like cykey, had no problem. The most I get is people asking what I'm photographing or kids jumping in front of the camera because they think it's going in the papers.Tonks said:Sorry to resurrect an old thread... well erm not really, they are all excellent shots but I have a question I would like to ask you - Are you ever worried about being mugged for your camera and gear you must be carrying around with you in Liverpool city centre?
I live in Runcorn and I know city centre Liverpool, or any big city centre for that matter are not places I would choose to wander around with expensive gear. Or am I just being a wuss?
