Evening all,

I'm having a rather horrendous problem. I was attempting to use Clonezilla to put a larger disc onto a smaller one and tried to change the HD size with Gparted. This kind of worked but I got a bit fed up and decided to reinstall Windows 7.

Now, I couldn't get the installation to work on the correct HD. When in the Windows 7 installation screen that allows you to select which to install to, I deleted some of the drives and I think it's caused some sort of problem. I ended up installing Windows on an SSD as I had planned, but now my other HDs no longer appear to exist to both the BIOS and to Windows...please help!!!

Thanks in advance,

remove drives, reconnect one by one to see if any are picked up. If it's not showing in the BIOS then it wont' show in Win 7 or any other OS. You might want to check the HDD settings in the BIOS to ensure it's set to auto detect the drives.

Well they were working fine before I tried that Windows install so the actual drives are fine, as are all the cables. BIOS is set to auto detect...

Erm...

You'll need to somehow try to recover the partitions you deleted.

Do the disks still show up in Disk Management?

No they don't Asim..
