HDTach 3.0.4.0 Vista 64Bit

I am concearned that my new Samsung is a tad sluggish, so I though I would run a HDTach for you all to look at. Can't get it running under vista 64bit, as apparantly it needs win2000 or xp.

How did you guys get it working?

Install it, rightclick its .EXE or Shortcut if you have one and set to XP-SP2 in the Compat Mode Teb.

Not to worry - I find the answer... Man Vista 64 don't like running anything as anyone anywhere...

I gave you the answer, has little to do with Vista but more the fact its not been updated for ages (the APP).

Thanks - I think we posted at the same time. I meant to say "I have found" not "I find" lol - Just an idiot here...

Well these are the results.

Might be OK, but wondering as it gives me a low(ish) 5.6 in Vista performance. I realise that's just a "benchmark" and means little in reality, but it's always nice to know you don't really have an issue.

Dont know, Raptors get 5.9, not sure if you need a SATA300 to get 5.9 on a 7200rpm HDD (not sure what your HDD is 150/300)

Vista Score is nothing to loose sleep over and soon it will be raised to 6.3 so many will not reach that thats currently reach 5.9 lol.
