This is for a wetstern digital cavier 80gb sataII

i have been having this horrible stuttering issue in games and was wondering if it could be my hdd causing it?

That looks fairly normal to me, the random access is maybe a bit slow but the best thing to do is probably to use the Compare Drive feature and see what other people with the same model get.

ok thanx fellas so you dont reckon its the hdd giving me these problems, and i wouldnt see much ingame performance boost in gettin a raptor?

Only on loading levels. Not during play.
