I don't watch much TV, but when I do, it's usually for entertainment or to learn something new. I don't give a rat's arse what the people on screen look like as long as they are good enough to fulfil their role!

I think the less we see of Ann Widdecombe the better.
While I don't like the trashy programmes she's been involved with, I've enjoyed the documentaries and more intellectual ones she's participated in, in all fairness.
In publicity stunts more like...
... if it furthers her career then good luck to her. At least Prof. Beard is smart enough not to be bothered by her crass criticisms.
But I'd find it hilarious if an internet hate campaign was launched against her.
