Shock as leader of organisation which promotes one race above others is a racist. What i love is he used the stereotypical "din du nuffin" and "is it cos I'm black?" as part of his defence.

It's about time these organisations that focus on one skin colour over others were put in the bin where they belong.

One of them clearly ain't a friend! I must admit I do take umbrage with this thing you keep seeing where having someone send you something offensive is a problem on your behalf and lands you in front of a judge. You're right that most of us have received something and had a chuckle or expressed a groan at how bad it is.

They'll hit them for malicious communications. A very tenuous use of it but with plenty of precedence.

They are enforcing what they have been told to enforce, I agree its hypocrisy but you cant expect anyone in society to live upto those standards at all times. It's often the case that those that shout the loudest are themselves guilty, many examples can be found of this (cricketer claiming racist then being antisemitic himself etc).

My view is that prosecuting someone for what is essentially freedom of expression and humour is a gross overreach by consecutive overbearing government's. I loathe it to my core and I believe in absolute freedom and freedom to offend. The overreach into someone's messages is abhorrent to me, messages are the modern day extention of a private conversation and government can FO out of them.

There are 2 issues with this. We don't know the exact contents of the messages and just how offensive they actually were. Aaaaand this guy heads the organisation that spends its entire time persecuting people that do the same in the name of being 'anti-racist'. Proper case of pot-kettle.

Heck the fact Dis has only made this thread because it's a black dude who runs a black-copper support group is about as racist; given that six white coppers of far more distinguished status did arguably far worse in Dec 2023:
