I'm fed up of plugging my phone in to listen to Spotify and want to stream it over bluetooth instead. Any recommend any inexpensive head units for doing this? Not too fussed about other features, I guess DAB would be nice. Current HU is just a basic JVC thing.

Single DIN, it's going in a Clio runabout hence not looking to spend a great deal.

Do the Kenwood units linked above all for track information to be displayed and tracks skipped within in Spotify? Not massively clued up on how well integration via Bluetooth is done.

Fitted a couple of Pioneer X560BT in our cars, looks like its been superseded by the X580 now. No CD so really tiny units, made chucking all the cables, steering wheel adaptors etc behind nice and easy. Sounded great and the hands free bluetooth was exceptionally clear (I think I read they use Parrot tech there).

It displays track names over Bluetooth, pretty sure I skip using the steering wheel controls, hold the main unit volume control in for a couple of seconds for Siri etc. The iPod control is excellent too with fast browsing by album, artist, genre etc.

I have a JVC X310BT - it was the cheapest bluetooth streaming HU I could find for my fiesta and it's actually really good. Came with mic etc and improved the quality from speakers no end

It doesn't have DAB - I just use internet radio through tunein on my phone. Probably better quality and integrates with android auto app so all works nicely

It does from my phone but don't use spotify so I guess it is dependant on the app itself
