Superb, I use Peek metal Polish on my RX8 just rub in for 10 minutes per light... gives good finish, however nothing is like using a rotary and polishing them!

You absolutely have to seal it with something afterwards though.

I used the Meguiars kit on some (almost yellow) headlights on my car last night.
I was very impressed with the results. Recommended for sure

3M kit that fits on a drill works well, mine were so bad I got an advisory on the MOT but look mint now.

What you are actually doing is completely removing the damaged anti-scratch UV resistant coating to expose the softer polycarbonate underneath. You can make it look like new, for a while, but nothing you can apply to the plastic will provide the same level of protection.

Unless you buy a dedicated UV-resistant coating, offered by say, 3M?

I have before and afters from when I done my Passat with wet sand and a polish.
