It sounds good but there are bugs as @Timber says, it's still on the firmware from the 26/06 so some of the featuers like PEQ still doesn't work, but at it's core, it sounds good, it is small, it looks good and it has the potential to be THE DAC/Amp to get for £300. It literally ticks all the boxes for something this size and price. Bluetooth, comes with remote, XLR, UV meter, built in PSU (my preference), metal built etc.
 
Remember the K13 R2R is an option too and won't have the firmware issues that Topping seems to have routinely in later models and is said top be priced at DX5 II money as well. It will also have a sweeter sound with wider soundstage knowing the Fiio R2R sound unless they have changed something like Topping did with the DX5 II.
