Hi,

I was looking for a Sennheiser HH10 headphone holder but literally nowhere seems to stock them:

Anyone have any alternative suggestions? Looking for one to clip onto the side of my desk as space is limited. Cheers.

Cheap as chips alternative is a banana holder - not a clip on, but they really dont take up much space.

Failing that, fleaBay has a few wall mounted options, as well as a Konig & Meyer branded headphone holder that is identical in principal to the HH10 for £22 - can also find this on that rainforest site.

Haha, never thought about that! Thanks all, going to have a look on the bay first, see what is on offer. Really wanted a clip on.

bangle holders look a far better solution especially the velvet ones (come in various colours too), where you could just screw it into a wall and hang several off it for <£5

search for bangle holder on ebay and look at the stuff which pops up. you can get 3 tier ones where you could use the 3rd tier for headphones. second tier for IEM's and bottom tier for watch collection.

looks good as well if you want a modern feel

I have two of the HH10's and it took me bloody ages to get my hands on them. I think I ended up paying around £30 each for them! Haha :)

Whats wrong with just putting them on your desk when not using them?
Most of them stands linked in that other topic look like they take up more room than just putting them down anyway.

depends on how much you value them I suppose, a lot of people have like £200+ headphones on here, some even £300+, etc.

you wouldn't just place a £3000+ watch on a desk now would you?

I'm looking to build a collection of headphones and a desk just wouldn't have the space to house I need a stand of some sort. My collection isn't going to be high end either but merely budget performers.

HTF600, MDR-7506, SE-A1000, HD 595, HD25-1 II, Fidelio X1

You could say why buy all them and just buy 1 really good set but they all produce sound slightly differently, some favour bass, some neutrality, some are bass low, some have a huge soundstage others don't. Some are open others are semi-open, others are closed, so they suit different environments.

I own 3 of the above already, just need to buy the other 3. A lot of fake mdr-7506's out there though, so I will need to buy them brand new off a reputable seller, I know how to spot a fake but don't want the hassle of fighting a case or having to send it back, etc. Going to get the SE-A1000 when I'm on holiday in a few months time, I'll leave the Fidelio X1 for another year or so.

Looks really nice really, fits my PC360's and other headphones perfectly fine.

only 30p difference in price, just wondering if 20cm has enough clearance underneath that I would be happy with.

glad your happy though.

I didn't know there was two different ones to be honest, in hindsight I'd pick the 40cm.

I like the 20cm, it's fine, my HD320's touch the base (With the cord) the PC360's elevated a fair bit like.

I'll take a picture as soon as I'm home.

yeah there's so many versions on ebay that's why i suggested searching for bangle holder and having a look through them all. literally hundreds of options.

thanks for quick response, I may get the 40cm version later on. I have 3 headphones currently buying another 2 in 2 months time, so may need to buy 3 stands or see if theres an even bigger option

I think my pc350's were about £200 when i got them and i have no problem with putting them on the desk, i don't feel its affected there performance over the years. and if i owned a 3k watch i would also just put it on a desk like i do with my £600 tissot and the £350 citizen watch's and the same as i do with my (whats an iphone cost?) £400? phone (don't even have a case for it) and all the other crap we have to buy in 2014 to been seen as with it.
There not pieces of fine china there just things that are designed to be used and moved around and stuff. They don't just brake and stuff. there's looking after things and buying crap for the sake of it because some one said it helps. there the types of people that get crap like this. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18585544

Who said it "helps"?

It looks a lot tidier, and what if you legitimately do not have room to sling them on your desk?

If people want to buy stupid **** like that, then let them. It's not your money they're spending so I don't know why it irks you so much.
