Just wondering if i loose quality as so fed up keep changing behind my pc between speakers and headphone and also if i use splitter, will it output speakers and headphone at the same time (i believe will degrade sq:confused:)

Thanks

Thats what I do, although make sure your speakers are turned off when you have your headphones plugged in, I was once listening to loud music on headphones one night, only to then realise its also waking everyone up from my speakers, nice, lol.

With Xonar D2

Just get yourself a Plantronics Audio headphone switch.
Cost about £10 delivered.
Just google it.

I was looking at Belkin splitter as don't really want anything else on my desk and noticed that with Plantronics ones i can actually choose either speaker or headphone not both at the same time, am i right?

edit:
Just notice that for speakers and headset with mic, so will it work for speakers and headphone?

Brilliant, will order it tonight :)

So i just connect speakers jack to speaker and headphone to headset and whenever i want to use it just press the switch?

Got mine, basically plantronics is a switch that you can choose which one will give sound output, either speakers or headphone. If you choose headphone for instance, there'll be no sound from you speakers :) It's great as i don't have to go under my desk everynight when i use my headphone :D
