I have the Beyerdynamics Dt 770 Pro cans and damn if they are not awesome just awesome. The bass, the bass - if you are into v.bassy tunes these are for you. Incredibly deep bass with NO distortion.Cannot recommend them enough..Good for games too.Comfy for long periods as well.
Picked em up for 84 quid delivered.I will buy them again and again.Better than senns..(I have them too).Running off an x-fi with no probs.Get the 80 ohms ones tho.
Good luck with your final choice.

Yeap. I have an old pair of phillips open headphones sitting here somewhere and tbh I just prefer the whole experience of closed cans.
Fair enough, we don't all hear the same.

But hold on a sec. I am not sure if the AT-910 you mentioned are the ones one seen here. Since I don't hear the 910 mentioned much I took the liberty to look up on them. Perhaps the A-900 would be a safer bet (they are certainly the most mentioned with the A-500)? Although, it is also possible that the 910 Art is different from the 910 Pro. I am not too sure, I've just not heard much about the 910 series.

Yeah the A900 were my prime choice, they seem to be one the most popular closed cans about and not badly priced also....

But then came the A900-LTD :o

Almost double the price and even clearer/better bass/treble....

ie not what I wanna hear lol but there going limited and outta stock, apparantly few places in japan have em.

My ebay transaction fell through. For the love of god. Why?? Why won't you let me buy some headphones *looks at sky at the god he neglects*

Erm, Anybody have any opinion on the Beyerdynamic DT150's. Better or worse than the 770's? They're about twenty more expensive so I presume they're better?...

Audiocubes for anything by Audio Technica.

[I guess it is okay to mention them since they don't sell anything by OcUK]

either them or bluetin - both offer a good service and their prices are about the same

The Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro's just arrived this morning. Oh god they sound sweet. I'm discovering that trance has a lot of treble that my old IXOS DJ1001's didn't reveal.

*uuhhhh....*drools everywhere**

We have an electric oven which came with a little shelf tray thing. You can put it right next to the grill wires so you can fast cook e.g. bacon.

I opened the oven door yesterday to put one slice of pizza in and didn't check to see where the bacon tray was. My pizza got cooked but trouble is so did the tray. There was fat still on it and that caught alight and scared the utter **** out of me :(

I use DT150's, i bought them because i am a bass player and it's nice to be able to practice without annoying everyone in a 5 mile radius. They sound superb, really nice for any kind of music tbh and the sound isolation is fantastic. I have never used any headphones which even come close in terms of bass response, they just totally rock on that front and they do not distort. One thing to be aware of if you have'nt worn closed back studio headphones before is that they clamp your head pretty tightly, some people cannot get used to this and just find them uncomfortable. Personally i can wear them for hours and not be bothered, but i would maybe suggest trying some out if you have the chance. The other thing of course is that they make you look like some kind of 70's BBC sound engineer lol, it's pretty hard to look cool with these stuck to your head...

I kind of like the old school function>form design though myself :)

EDIT: lol sorry i did'nt notice the second page to this thread! Glad you like your cans anyway, i think all the Beyerdynamics are great headphones tbh.

They're fantastic mate. It's amazing somebody somewhere said that he had to listen to his music again because his older poorer headphones left out things that he was now hearing for the first time. That person's now me. I love these badboys!

Certainly is like listening to an old song but new again.... thats nothing got millions of head fiers changing there highend cans for each song cos they can hear more or enjoy it more on a different pair of cans....
