Where can you buy headphone amps?

I bought sen h595s without one i didnt know lol. :p

You don't absolutely have to have one but they make a difference, especially when driving high impedance headphones.

medusas are dire, they fall apart like 100 year old cars, with their build quiality they should be priced <£15 imo.

go to head-fi and the 'audiophiles' will point you in the right direction.

Everything people are saying about the medusa's must make my pair a super-pair because you make them sound ****.

i want some surround sound headphones, really high quality and i have 200 quid to spend.

what to buy ?

will go with a x-fi ;)

Get the Shure E500 earphones, it's one of the best (probably is the best earphone on the market) for music listening and is is excellent for gaming coupled with an x-fi card.

It cost me ~£230 :)

medusa's are junk, break way too easily... In terms of good quality surround sound headphones I wouldnt know but most seem to go for high quality stereo offerings like:

Audio-Technica ATH-A900's (£130ish) and AKG K 240 Studio (£70ish)...

Or you could try Icemat Siberia Headphones or SteelSound 5H v2, havent tried either but theyre meant to be better than medusa's.

I'm thoroughly disappointed with my uber high end razer surround sound headphones, sound isnt sharp, the change over between the small speakers inside is really too obvious.

It might be the fact that im using onboard sound, gonna get a fatal1ty soundcard anyway so we'll see.

Probably gna get rid of them tho :<
