Hi all .. purchased an i-touch in September this year and the right ear piece on the headphones has just broken like i picked them up to use and it just fell apart. I didn't cause it to happen so where do you think I stand on getting them replaced should I just take them back to where I bought the device and see if I can get them replaced or contact apple and see what they say? .. does anyone know what the email for apple support is as I can't see it on the website its just a phone number.

An Apple store will, another store will just send you to Apple. It's not an email address.

phoned up and they said do this but basically i have to send the old broken ones back which il get a free paid envelope to do so ... but I have to pay a £16 fee incase I dont manage to send them back in 10 working days which they didn't tell me. So stuff that id rather wait and get some more myself think its quite stupid really

What's the problem with that? You get the £16 back when they receive your broken ones. It means you get a brand new set of headphones without having to wait very long. The alternative is sending your headphones in, waiting for them to be checked and then having another set sent out.

You don't have to pay anything - they take your details and charge you IF you don't send them back. If you do, nothing's taken.

Just wondered, could anyone recommend some replacement iPhone headphones? Or are the genuine apple ones as good as any?

The standard Apple ones are pretty bad. What you replace them with depends on your budget. Some of the cheaper Sennheiser ones would give a nice improvement and satisfy most people.
