Hi all,
This might be of help to someone. I installed my SSD (Samsung 64Gig) last night for caching. I followed the instructions on here and applied the registry hack as I did not want to reinstall windows. All worked well and I could see the "accelerate" tab.
However, today when I switched on my pc I got "MBR Error fault 1". I thought my machine was borked and would have to do a reinstall. What I did was this. I unplugged all my internal hard drives except my "C" drive and DVD burner. When I did a reboot windows loaded and everything came back. So I think if you are installing an SSD for cache only have your system disk connected while you do the SSD install. In my case it screwed up my boot order and made one of my storage drives my system drive. Because I had no OS on it I got the MBR error.
I'm no expert, but that is what I found. Has anyone else come across this?
