As per title? What are the odds? They're 11 months old (Christmas pressie :() and here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-003-PT&groupid=702&catid=1058&subcat=1718

A good headset imo, the "5.1" was effective in FPS games and the build quality felt good, tough and heavy....really shocked they broke just putting them on my head :(

So if the answer is no chance of a replacement what would you recommend I get? The headset will 90% of the time be used for FPS games and voice comms. The remaining 10% will be movies and music when I'm trying not to wake anyone.

Thanks in advance!

Mine did EXACTLY the same thing just with usual wear.

I take it they have snapped just above the mic?

I repaired mine myself with some superglue and tape, but then they broke again. I neded up buying some Creative ones. Really good headset but I have heard of a few of them snapping on the headband. Pity really.

I would go direct to Plantronics if I were you. My previous epxerience of their customer service is pretty good. I broke one of their bluetooth telephone systems after a few months and they replaced it straight away. :)
