I installed a new alpine head unit a couple of weeks ago but have since had no antenna as the cable from the car doesn't fit into the connection on the unit. I'm aware that I need some form of adapter but want to be sure which one is suitable. The pics below show the connection I need.

The connector coming from the alpine head unit:

The antenna cable from the car:

Thanks

Its a pretty standard style adapter, needed for many cars when fitting an Alpine stereo. Bayonet to 'stud' is how I described it...halfords do one for less than a fiver. Can be had very cheaply though...ebay item 220552538878 for example :)

I have an adapter in my tool box in work, If you want it i can post it out to you?

Wow, thanks!

Any chance you'll be able to get it out first class tommorow? Got a long journey on Wednesday and would be nice to be able to get traffic updates if the need arises. Do you want anything for postage?

dont think i would be able to do that tomorrow, Might be worth you popping into a local motor factors and having a look round there.

Get that one on ebay, they're £5 in halfords

Must cost about 1p to make

Car audio is a bloody mess!

I know, it's the first time I considered shoplifting.

Had spent the morning taking everything apart and needed that last bit to finish it, couldn't be bothered to wait for postage so I took the hit :/
