Healthy quick filling goto meals.

For a change be nice to me LA :p:D:D

So what are your quick healthy filling goto meals.

Mine is grilled chicken with a shake of cajun spice mix and steamed greens.
 
Chicken breast on the George Foreman, multigrain wrap, squirt of mayo and nandos extra hot sauce, big handful of salad and maybe a sprinkle of cheese and fresh chillies if I've got any.
Nom!
 
I used to have a bad habit of opening some red pepper humous and having "some" of it by dipping "one" pitta bread in there.

I stopped once I realised that more often than not I ended up having the entire pot of humous and most of the pack of pitta bread. So delicious though.

Throw a 16oz corn-fed sirloin onto a white hot griddle pan, 2 minutes a side. A nice 1.5inch steak to keep the center moist, tender, juicy and cooked o a perfect medium rare. Normally serve it with blanched green beans, or steamed asparagus etc.


Quick, tasty, healthy.

But steak contains fat! Which is REALLY unhealthy and is also red meat, so doubly unhealthy!!!

It's so unbelievably good. For me it's the worst kind of junk food purely based on how much of it I will eat given half an opportunity :p

As above - you're missing out. If you like garlic then you'll love it :)

It's all these music festivals, cold beans are like prison.

First you hate them, then you accept them and after a while you begin to love them. Don't even get me start on the merits of cold rice pudding and warm ale from a slightly muddy can :D

Just as long as the can still only contains beer and hasn't been used by someone as a mobile toilet ;)
 
Depends what you call quick really.

Fritata would be my main choice of a quick meal or cous cous and salad.

For me, if I can cook it and be sat down eating it in under and hour that's quick. Getting back into curry at the moment - made a really tasty (but basic) marsala chicken dish last night. Took me about 10 minutes of prep and left it to sort itself out for 1/2 hour. Lovely :)

One can only hope! I have been laid victim to the "fag butt can" before having put my can down next to it. Nothing says "OH GOD, NO!" like a mouthful of fag butts and stale, faggy beer.

Beans and sausages! I'm a posh festival goer obviously :p
Jesus, I bet next you're gonna tell me they aren't smart price and you had actual spoons instead of a bent library card :D
 
Yep chicken thighs seasoned or marinaded with some veg

any sort of meat with a pack of stir fry veg

Big ass salad
One of the salad bowl from a supermarket, some sort of meat or cheese, olives, pickled chilis and a bit of dressing of your choice.
