Heart attack in a box

Why is it that as soon as someone mention kebabs, or other such tasty treats, the food snobs come out of the woodwork?

People like what they like, not what you dictate they should like. Get over it!

Kebab meat is rank. How dare you tell me otherwise?

This is a wind up knowone in there right mind would eat that.

Afraid not. Some of the foodstuffs available up here is unimaginably horrendous. Battered and deep-fried pizza for example. If people want to eat that sort of thing then it's their choice. Presumably they are aware of the possible consequences.

Its not like that, not all healthy food taste bad infact its the oppsite.

The only people who eat that stuff on a regualr basis are people with no taste buds, fatties or cant/wont cook.

RRRrronnnggggggg try again. I'm not trying to be arguementative, but that's wrong :p (I don't eat battered marsbars, battered/deep fried pizzas etc, or huge 'heart attack in a box' style stuff, but I'm not adverse to the odd kebab, beastly fry up etc. And no I'm not bragging that I eat a lot of unhealthy food. Not at all. But I like it and I eat it. And that doesn't make me a fatty with no sense of taste that can't cook.

Something to do with the subconcious human want for really energy-rich foods that will sustain you when there are no Ice Age style woolie mamoths to catch. Not to mention people have different tastes and preferences, and as much as I appreciate 'finer foods', this type of stuff often can not be beaten.

The occasional treat now and again doesnt hurt anyone i agree, but i look around me in town and obesity is a real problem. And it doesnt help with food like that, there should be food standard laws or something.

lol, I'm no food snob, I eat trash all the time, but that is just rank. I mean it literally looks like tripe or something.

On what standards? I could quite easily eat something like in the OP and remain completely healthy.

There are no such things as "healthy" foods. It's all about balance and doing a decent amount of exercise. Fatties tend to eat an unbalanced diet and do no exercise.

They didnt have pakora left tonight, so I had to settle for a half pounder with donner meat and a portion of chips :(
