I was unable to get out this lunchtime so I thought I'd try a new sandwich bar that's opened near us and order a "chicken salad". It was described as "lightly seasoned chargrilled chicken with a fresh mixed leave salad" and sounded quite nice.

One of my colleagues placed the order and then went to collect the food. His BLT lacked tomatoes which wasn't the best start then I opened mine.....

Now I could be wrong but where's the "mixed leaf salad" and it looks slightly more than "lightly seasoned".. That's not to mention half a gallon of what I guess is Mobil 1 0w40 in the bottom of the tray.

Suffice to say I think I'll go elsewhere next time!

Looks absolutely vile - I'd shove it back in their faces, and see how they like it.

GOOD GOD!

I would take that to trading standards, there is no way on this planet that could be described as a "lightly seasoned chargrilled chicken with a fresh mixed leave salad" . :D

I was expecting something bad as i scrolled down but NOT THAT BAD! dear god I think you were brave to leave the lid off long enough to take a photo.

It's the care that they have taken in the presentation I like.
