Heart Attack

My parents reckon you get to see someone die of a heart attack or something to show that it isn't like the films.

Sorry ITV I'll be watching Andrew Marrs show on BBC1. Better luck trying to get ratings next time.

this was in the paper the otherday, it's an ad from (i believe) the BHF, it's giving the general public advice on how to detect 'your' heart attack as apparently, 9/10 people who suffer a heart attack, if detected quick enough, would be able to survive it , but because a lot of people don't know how to detect one, it's more like 4 / 10 die from one unneccessarily.

Damn I forgot all about this. I bought a book in the British Heart Foundation shop the other day and they gave me a leaflet about the ad.

The ad was certainly informative. The only thing that concerned me a little was the bit about feeling unwell. Should common sense prevail or are they implying calling for an ambulance regardless.

I haven't seen the ad but something like this will have to be done very carefully so as to not increase the number of unecessary 999 calls.

But the intention is there to inform people with the range of symptoms and not just what people see on television.
