already have the 1st app. was looking for something wtih an accessory (like the garmin one). ta :)

the 1st app is a little awkward to use in the gym on a crosstrainer :p

Only that it might be more hassle to return other then that no. Though i would buy from the international store.

I can't use the Instant Heart Monitor on my Galaxy Note because the LED burns my finger in a matter of seconds.... !

mine gets warm eventually but takes 10 secs or so to get a sense. does the note really get that hot?

Mine didn't get remotely hot, rear camera lens, about 10 sec, 84, I did it loads of times and it still didn't get hot, why would a lens get hot?

Sorry to bump and old thread, but no point starting a new one, right?

Tomos, how have you got on with your monitor? Could you link to the one you have?

I want to use mine with Strava and JeFit. I find Endomondo would stop working too easily in the middle of a ride.

Also, if it matters, I'm using a Galaxy S3. It worries me many of the monitors specify which devices they work with, Bluetooth should be a universal standard, no?

just the bluetooth one off the endomondo site. they have another one that connects via some other protocol that only works on sony phones iirc

works well with my note 2 (and my sgs2 before that)
