Hi Guys

As many of you know, the Razer Mamba 2012 is the go to mouse for FPS gamers looking for a wireless solution.

The Mamba is usually £109.99 and we are being supported to offer this for £79.99 this weekend only.

This is a limited unit run which will mean that they will sell out quickly.

This offer is hugely below our cost price. You will not see a Mamba this low ever again.

I buy peripherals for a living and use this mouse myself. It is brilliant.

The packaging, the unboxing experience, the quality of the product are all very much a £109.99 mouse.

If I hadn't had such bad customer experience with Razer I would be tempted to buy it but they fail to last any longer than 18 months imo and then they do not honor the warranty. Laser will more than likely start to go then the double click will come along and finish it just outside warranty, will not touch them or Roccat again.

IT is a fantastic mouse one of the best clicks I've ever used (really nice feedback) great sensor and actually a wireless mouse that works :)

Decided to switch out the Logitech G510s and G700 for a Corsair k70 and this!! Looking forward to playing with my new toys next week :D

Excellent Manoeuvre.

Have to say, I've never really seen the benifits to paying this much for a mouse. My £30 logitech M705 is quick, I point and click, icon moves, stuff gets clicked. Not sure how I could justify a mouse that comes in at four times the price tag? It's not like comparing a mech kb to a plastic one, where you can clearly see the differences, is it?

I agree to an extent. A gaming wireless mouse is awesome, not having to worrying about cables getting in the way (just remembering to turn it off and put on charge when turning off the pc)

As for why I've spent this much, well many say it is "the best", and I feel after 4 years of the G700, it's worth giving something new a go. Never owned a Razer perhiparal but always hear good things.

That and CARROT STOP TRYING TO JUSTIFY YOUR EXPENSIVE PURCHASE ON A FORUM TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL BETTER :p

Does it feel like a deathadder?

If so I may get it and use my old deathadder for work. I hate this stupid 'magic mouse' for the Mac here, hand cramps in no time.

yes, but the grips are less plasticy and the build quality is nicer

Are you forced to use the charging dock? I'd rather plug in a cable and carry on using the mouse, not put it on a dock and have no mouse so I can't use the pc.

I'm also reluctant to try another wireless gaming mouse after my bad experience with a G700s. No problems with my Performance MX.

Just bought one can't wait to recieve it, my Logitech G5 was getting a bit long in the tooth :)

I've had the opposite with Razer's customer service, my GF got nail glue over the WASD keys on my Lycosa and I sent Razer an email asking how much for replacement keys (Needed about 5 in total)...took a little while as they shipped from abroad but I get replacements for free :)

I've been looking at a new wireless mouse for the lounge and the casual gaming on the sfa, which is all I seem to do nowadays.... 30 mins here and there.

Was trying to keep a new ,mouse under £30. Damn this temptation and probable overkill for the use it'll get.

While everyones experiences vary I'm still using a deathadder from 2008 with no signs of it giving up anytime soon.
Granted I've never had to deal with warranty or returns though.

ive never had any issue with Razer products. my mamba stopped working a few weeks back. got a new battery for it. absolutely fine.

i have a lycosa in my bits box that is about 8 years old and has been properly hammered.

DA 2013 at work, again, absolutely fine and trouble free and it given my job, it gets clicked loads. cant complain and given the RMA terms we have with them, OcUK is the best place to get your Razer from.

Mine arrived today although can't use it til sunday, looking forward to using it :D If I remember, will try and do a mini review and compare it to my G700!

I have this mouse and while it performs brilliantly Razer really skimped on the build quality when it comes to 1 thing, The rubber grip on the left and right sides, They tend to comer away after a certain amount of time, would have been better had they just gone with a textured plastic instead.
