Hi all,

I have a 55kg item that is 60x30x30cm in size I need sending in the UK.

Was wondering if anyone knew of any reputable couriers I could use to send this by?

Thanks

From where to where?
Overnight? sameday? gizza clue.

Phone a local courier and ask for a price (inc insurance).

Dynamic Despatch (google) are based in Leeds but will pick up/deliver anywhere.

Thanks for help,

Can't be with parcel2go as it's too heavy. I think after 25kg with them, it has to be pallet costing £100.
It's going from Bristol>Cheshire. Next day delivery. Thurs collection>Friday delivery.

Just looked at DPD site and they seem very reasonable. (£27 upto 100kg). Anyone have any experience with these guys?

Thanks

You're best to run a couple of quotes through Parcelmachine and Interparcel first.

Both are brokers.. for the courier companys. (I think the word is brokers..)

I v.much doubt you'll be able to directly contact DPD for one pickup. They will want to be dealing with account customers only.

You need an account to send with DPD afaik, if possible to split into two boxes should work out cheaper - I pay £7 a box up to 30kg, not too sure about heavier items
