General Plot

In a city on the US east coast, sons are mysteriously going missing, only to be found 5 days later, drowned in rain water, with an origami figure on their chests...

The public is gripped by fear and paranoia.
The authorities seem no closer to a credible suspect.
And now another son has disappeared - Shaun Mars.

Amidst suspicion and anxiety, four people will follow their own leads in a desperate search for Shaun. They know what the cost will be if they don't reach him in time - but they don't yet know just how far they must be prepared to go...

Excellent post, i'm really, really looking forward to this and have been for a long time. The demo actually exceeded my expectations which surprised me so the anticipation has grown.

OPSM have reviewed it and given it 9/10

Very well done and I love the music :)
 
I am gutted as I can't afford to buy this AND Bad Company 2 so this will be rental but I'd like to support Quantic Dream by purchasing it later on as the demo really has me in high anticipation.
 
Well im too lazy to look about BUT can some one please explain why this game has so much hype as from what i have seen it is just click few buttons and enjoy the movie :s.

Now if its mainly cut scenes im not that fussed as MGS4 had plenty of them in large chunks but gameplay was epic with this i cant even tell what is gameplay or what the actually point is?

Please explain as i might just be being thick
 
Looking forward to this, I just dont know when I'm going to fit it in what with BioShock & AvP also coming out

Too many good games coming out all at the same time :(

That's exactly the impression I'm getting from it. Maybe I should go and read the OPSM review.

Try the demo if you can. The main focus is very much on the storyline and the characters, with the gameplay being there to support that, rather than vice-versa.

It's going to appeal to some people but others are very-much going to see it as game consisting largely of interactive cutscenes. Personally I like the idea.

Early impressions from the demo is that this is going to be a game that is going to be full of options from the player perspective. It's not going to be a typical run and gun experience. What will set it apart is that this is going to be a game to make you think rather than coasting through the experience.
 
its a story driven Quick Time Event based movie with branching paths that are based around a serial killer of which you play several characters within the story line.

It's been classed a twister style game because after playing your hands will feels like what your body does after a party game of twister as you attempt to hit serious button combinations.

Also Sony seem's to be putting a blockade on any reviewer who dares to give it a low score according to some sites.

personally after playing the demo i'll wait till it's £12 odd - the price of a movie, lol
