Heavy Rain (PS3)

Going back to Love Film, dull dull dull. Played it for a while now and I don't have the time to waste on this when I do play on my PS3. If I had loads of spare time to fritter away I may of kept it but I just can't be bothered with it.

4/10 imo.

Elements of it were great, like the car scene, and some others later on which i won't give away... But that is then coupled with some pure tedium...

PRESS X TO JASON!!!

Found the controls a bit annoying too when changing camera angles and it was really clunky when walking through crowds and in the meat locker etc.

So you're rating it 4/10 because you don't have the patience to work through the initial slower stages? A lot of games start out slowly and end up being something special by the end. A game doesn't deserve a bad score simply because you can't be bothered to put the time in.

I was moving about a lot at the time it came out so i had to start the game again about 4 times. Now i just can't be arsed to play it due having to do bits i've done over and over again.

It's stupid the developers don't allow the save game to be copied.

No I'm giving 4/10th because I found it dull and it wasn't worth my time to play through the dullness and initial slowness as you said to get to the good bits.

Just about finished my 1st play through and would agree with some that it is an exceptional game and I can't remeber being as riveted to my seat in a long time. Can see this being one of my all time faves.

Have to say though, the 'reveal' dissapointed me hugely, blowing logic out the window. My wife (about as un-game or un-film savvy as you can get) was watching at the time and asked 'But how xxxxx xxxxxx'? My answer was 'I have no idea' !!

It didn't really tempt me to play it trough again but I did the platinum the other week and it was actually really fun to see all the endings I missed out on :p Didn't mind it at all. That being said, I completed the game some days after release so most parts of the story was forgotten.
