Is it just me, or does it taste more like salad cream?

I'v only had it in sachets at KFC, but it tasted alright from what I can remember. Not like salad cream anyway

It doesn't taste like salad cream, it is actually closer to French mayo really. Prefer it way more than Hellman's, that stuff isn't mayo at all imo.

Best mayo ive had was storebrand from a Cheapo supermarket chain called Qwicksave, it was so light and pure not a stabiliser or emulsifier in sight. I think its shut down now

The misses prefers the Heinz mayo over the Hellmans. When we used to go to Burger King she would try and get as many packets as possible because we couldn't find it in the shops.

The blue packets are great and nothing like salad cream. No idea about bottled stuff, but assume its the same as packets.

Heinz for chips and generally hot dinner type foods and then hellmans for cold sandwiches, chicken and bacon etc.

The stuff in the jar is really sweet tasting. I like Hellmans, but I really don't like Heinz.

The light version is pretty poor. But the normal version is very nice.
