Helen's trying to loose fat log.

No not thought about lifting gloves. Ummm yeh swimming lol I'm not the best swimmer lol and he goes at like 6 in the morning lol crazy guy!! And I have to be at work in the week at like 7:30 to get the bus etc I could on weekends tho l guess.
 
Is anyone any good at diet plans? im getting a bit sick of eating salad at lunch time lol i need a lunch meal that is 300 calories protein and not expensive lol any ideas?? im stuck.
 
300 cals? That's a pretty low number to be eating anything but pure poverty salad. Try playing around with different flavours on chicken, diced on salad. Throw in some peppers and other flavourful veggies to make it more interesting.

Helen, you'll be safe to lose 2lbs per week without risking muscle atrophy :) which is like a kilo per week if that makes it easier for you!


Sorry if this is a stupid question lol but if this is the case then why do i have to concentrate on eating so much protein?? cause im only maintaining my muscle while im loosing the weight. i undertsand on gym days its a good idea to eat more protein.
 
You still need to hit decent calories, to do that without pilling in massive amounts of carbs your only alternatives are protein's and fats (which are much better for you then you might imagine).
 
Your body will be on the verge of/will actually be breaking your muscles down. You want to be combatting this by stimulating muscle growth (through working out) and providing the raw materials that your body requires. The purpose of you consuming protein is to provide materials for your muscles to grow when stimulated by exercise. When you are in a calorific deficit, your body will break down your muscles to use for energy. The larger the deficit, the more quickly your muscles will break down. Increased protein intake + resistance training is what will stop you turning in to a sickly thin rake.
