I've never played a proper helicopter sim, but I do think the choppers in BF2, Operation Flashpoint and Armed Assault are excellent.

The choppers in BF2 arn't very realistic at all, but the thing is it doesn't feel completely arcadish in that the way the helicopter moves as you tilt and rotate it, is sort of realistic or pseudo-realistic if that makes any sense. Eitherway, it's very simple but incredibly fun with lots of manuveres and tricks to do; I'd get BF2 just to fly the AH-1Z. :cool:

Desert strike was really cool in its time. Great fun. Shame they dont make games as good these days in the same style

Holy crap, this is the first game I actually bought! I can remember me and my brother going absolutely ballistic after purchasing the game for the commodore 64. :eek:

I was only a kid then, so I had no idea how to play; only games I played on the C64 was Terminator 2 and Flimbos Quest, lol.
