Bit of a long shot this - I have a Helios X3000 HD player that I stream files from my PC / NAS. It uses the Helios "Neolink" server. Company now defunct.

All works OK on Win XP SP3 BUT won't work in Win 7 - tried "compatibility modes" etc but server wont run; just "hangs" partially loaded screen.

Anybody else use this gear and found a Win 7 solution. Can stream directly from the NAS but the Helios server has a better user interface.

Mel

Have had a play BUT the current version of Twonkymedia does not appear to be able to stream VOBs - hence no good to me! Thanks. Mel

Should have said - have been trying on my XP sp3 pc first.

Rebooted all and T-M appeared again on the Helios (i.e. onece from my manual set up and once from "auto"). The "auto" one played VOBs. T-M Server I set up manually did not.

BUT it played with a stutter whereas Helios neolink did (does) not. Perhaps I will uninstall both and try them individually. I think that perhaps they interfere with each other.

Some (slow) progress!
