PC version is using some kind of kernel level/rootkit anti-cheat 'nProtect'.
I had blue screens after the Valorant one so this game is a no for me.

Really put off HD2 by their anti-cheat stance
I went from a must buy to a maybe when I heard about the in-game money grubbing to a definite avoid when the anti cheat method was released.

The kernel level DRM is a no no for me, it's not like they've even gone with a good one, this used to stop you even using a browser if you had the game running.

What's the anti cheat about? What's performance like on pc for thkse who jave played it?
It'll install NProtect but beyond that I can't comment. I wanted the game so I installed it. I only use my PC for games so I didn't really care what the deal was as long as I could squash some bugs.
Performance on PC for me has been absolutely fine. Other than 1 crash when I was sorting out loading into a cross play match, after that I had everything on Ultra/High with no issues.

Played for 3 hours last night with a squad full of mates. Most fun I’ve had with my pants on for years!

This game is a lot of fun! The friendly fire leads to serious lols, There are (computer) bugs atm but I'm not bothered, using a controller to play as well
