Helldivers 2

Don't think it mentions it in the patch notes, though I only skimmed them, but new ship modules are also added with the latest patch - though complaints the turret one doesn't work and one of the others only works intermittently apparently (possibly wasn't intended for them to be released yet and accidentally live with the patch).

Logged in this afternoon and the current Major Order is already 100%, so can't run a mission on Marfark... does that mean I've missed out on those rewards?
Same, I logged in this evening and got my medals from the previous 1 but unable to play the current one as its already at 100%.

Exited the game and it crashed on exit and would not close unless I restarted the PC, so annoying!

Had some dude shooting at the rest of the team last night. Really frustrating until he got killed and no one would reinforce.

Only for one of the other members to kill me just as we're getting into the dropship. That was annoying.

Just had someone who was able to kill us after we were in the extraction shuttle... (EDIT: Oh apparently their friendly fire can still do it after the fact :( just hostile damage can't which is pretty stupid).

Just AFK in their session now blocking them from starting a mission - surprised they've not kicked me yet. EDIT: Ah finally they worked out how to kick me LOL.

EDIT: Stupid stim fail got me killed after the mission timer ran out so no reinforcements :( I can't stand devs who just push on with the theory of how stims work in this fashion for gameplay reasons when this kind of networking model just can't make it work reliably.

I don’t think the stim inconsistency is a network connectivity issue, I think it’s an animation clash.

Both have an impact on it - I understand what is going on behind the scenes but don't have my head around it sufficiently to explain it.

Same thing happened with The Division which has a similar implementation for healing - originally the actual heal was at the start of the animation cycle and worked pretty reliably, then they sync'd it to the animation cycle which was exposing it to network conditions as well as potential for animation clashes. There are valid gameplay/skill reasons for doing it that way but it doesn't really work in the real world as the theory on paper.

I logged in this evening and got another Major order medals completed and I never took part.

Did you get any?

also discovered tonight that medals are capped at 250 (unspent)

I hadn't got round to unlocking anything else for a few days and the major and personal orders banked up... did today's "kill 25 hunters" and got 0 medals :(

Meh game just ******* around tonight - even entering a hellpod on the ship isn't sync'd up properly and the animation is a different one to where you actually selected LOL, one mission I joined at the start, landed and dropped my support weapon stratagem, turned around and instantly was killed by a stalker from behind... which must have literally just spawned in thin air behind me.

EDIT: Total waste of time so far tonight, just issues or people AFK or everyone leaving mid mission, etc. etc.

EDIT2: And another waste of time, 2 minutes in and again ganked by stalker weirdness where the game just totally went to ****... FFS

And next game it joins me to is people just dicking around on the ship...

Anyone here on PC willing to take a newbie under his wing ?

I play regularly, drop me a DM and I'll share my steam name, you'd be welcome to join me if you see me on and playing with room in the team, as long as not waiting for someone in a preorganised group.
Feels like half my steam friends list are playing half the time now lol

The Automatons seem to move a lot slower, so you can reposition more quickly in most cases. I’m only playing on difficulty 4, but the same difficult with the automatons seems easier, but maybe I’m just more used to fighting them.
On the higher difficulties they are much harder. You'll get bot drops constantly, the hulk bruisers will come at you with flamethrowers and are very fast and catch you, unless you have light armour. Their flame length is huge too.

Not to mention the drop ships and the new factory striders.
