Helldivers 2

With the MO now completed Its currently a free for all to play against who you like.

Took the chance to jump on bots and try out the meltagun and all I can say is its great fun!

Can take down motor emplacements easily, hulks and tanks etc worth a try
 
While i really enjoy the game since day one ive always felt it lacks progression.
It could just be me as a solo player needing progression to keep me logging in but other games in the genre like space marine 2,Darktide, Deep Rock Galactic have real progression and something to aim towards all the time.
Ofcourse the weapon leveling system helps here but being honest the difference in a fully levelled weapon doesnt seem to matter much.
I feel it needs more progression, but gameplay wise its a special game.

This is what I am doing at the moment.

As there is nothing else to work towards when playing I am just levelling my guns but they do not make much of a difference as it does not increase damage of the weapon but more accessories for them like bigger mags, grips and sights etc

There was mention of more ship upgrades coming but when that will happen is anyone's guess

level cap has been increased to 300 from 150 now as well so XP for missions goes towards this now as well.

Yep i hear ya, take a look at Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 that is releasing today actually, it has a deep progression system which for me and players like me will make a big difference longterm.

Yeah, I do play HD with randoms and still enjoy it.

I did take a bit of a beak to play arc for awhile, again solo.

Hopefully the ship upgrades will come soon to add a bit more progression to it
 
Happy Liberty Day!!

For those that have the game login before 23:59pm tonight and you should then get the free weapon.

Unsure if there is any retractions of needing to play etc though
 
That's wierd, I logged in yesterday evening and my ship was decked out in carpets and flags and such, with a Liberty Day parade gif on the News Screen.-

strange, what time did you login, when was the last time you played?

Was your shipped covered in liberty day décor?

I logged in this morning and got the weapon but I do play still daily or every few days

Crazy haw people are review bombing now that they added anti cheat to stop certain mods.

I only recently had tried mods and it was just one to show ammo left up beside the crosshair.
