Helldivers PS4

Interested in this. Just annoyed that every PSN game I've bought on PS4 has been given away free with PS+ and it's not like I have a load of free time - so should just wait really.

It's a really enjoyable game with plenty of upgrades and content, a guess missions could become repetitive but they all seem really well managed, the progress unlocks are good and makes for different ways to approach missions with other players, just about to unlock the mech machine, kind of space marines feel to it.... Roll on the weekend so I can get right into it 
Yes it's possible to play co-op for up to 4 players

Helldivers offers 4-player local and online co-op multiplayer, and any combination in between (except for the Vita which doesn't really support local co-op since it only has one controller). You can have two on the PS4, one on the PS3 and one on the PS VITA for example.

This is a truly excellent game that, aside from great reviews, doesn't seem to have gotten the exposure it deserves.
It starts out as a really solid twin-stick shooter, but as you move up the levels you start to see just how strategic it can be and the number of different tactics you could employ to get the job done. Just shooting stuff won't cut it at the higher levels, and the highest two difficulties require absolute coordination making them difficult to play with randoms.
Great game though, fun in general with a very strong challenge to boot for those that like strategy and difficulty.
Oh, just to add, it's essentially Starship Troopers: The Game.

It is excellent. It's like a remake of the best Amiga game never to hit the Amiga. Surprisingly very pretty too. If you have a PS4 you should buy Helldivers

So - I bought this and starting to reach the harder levels. I've just been going solo up to Level 6/7 missions to get to the point at which strategy starts to become more important.
Tried a level 10 mission with randoms and it went downhill pretty quickly. Even simple things like turret placement seems beyond most people! Putting them all over so it creates insane cross fire.
I also dropped 2 different rocket launchers and some ammo crates and people just ignored them and continued trying to take down the tanks with machine gun fire....
So, anyone from here wanting to team up?

I hate DLC and bringing it this soon is a bit silly but I've come to terms with simply ignoring all DLC from now on and basically just pretend it does not exist.
So, this game was worth the asking price to me for the content it has from launch.
If that is not the case for other games because they lack content later to come as DLC then I won't buy them.
So I dislike it, but in this case the base game is more than enough for the price I paid.
Not doing themselves any favours bringing it out so soon though.

Played last night and ended up adding someone as a friend who had a Mic on - after a few rounds of failing at a Hard as Hell mission with a bunch of crap randoms we ended up with 2 other people who knew how to play (although didn't have mics).
What a difference. 3 star on the mission with ease. Can't wait to team up with regular people and try the hardest missions - should be great fun.

Quite surprised how easy it is to do level 10 missions solo......easier than doing level 6 with 3 randoms, lol.
is it just me or are other people having the issue were they cant find the Helldivers main game on PSN. I was looking to buy this on my vita last night but could not find the main game no matter where I looked. I can see all the DLC but no game not even in a bundle :s
