I kinda lost interest in reading anything else after that. Seems like I may have been a bit hasty - I'm not going to deprive a true fan from a place in beta though :p let me know if its any good won't ya? :)

you dont have to pay for it, all that means is you dont get the montly / fort-nightly or whatever additional items / maps / whatever they add, along with the extra character slots, guild creation, bigger stash etc.

i was also sceptical about the payment scheme too, but im thinking of the lifetime sub if thats available in europe. sha

i signed up for beta quite some time ago and have the game pre-ordered :)

just checked my email as the beta keys have now been sent out and i got mine, pre-ordering beta key promotion ***!

yeh, loads of people getting it too, slight bugger up by FSS on the website or something.

what beta ever goes perfectly?! :p

apparently it sould be all working by tomorrow, but dont quote me on that...
 
Been playing this since the Friends and Family alpha, not sure if I'm going to pick it up at release or not but what I have played was good fun.

The game is entirely instanced so it's not an MMO, think Guild Wars. You'll only see other people at the quest hubs or if you group with them.
