Right, I'm not new here, I lurk... A fair few of you may recognise me from a fair few other forums where I either post a fair bit or even moderate. I don't post very much at all here as the forum is VERY large and I can never keep track. So for once I figured I may as well try.

Any pointers on keeping in the loop here? I always find I don't look for a few days and then cant find what I am looking for.


Many thanks to all those who share thoughts, theories, methods etc etc.

Have you considered subscribing to threads? I've never gotten on with that but it'd be able to help I reckon. Apart from that just get into a routine and rotate in a few forums - GD just needs a bit of time and routing around to keep up.
 
well fair's fare... (you said "fair" a fair few times in ur OP :D)

Basically I have my options setup to auto-subscribe to any thread inwhich I post. Then, when I come back a day or 2 later, I goto my User CP and all the threads I'm interested in (that I've posted in) will show me if there's been updates, along with all the ones that haven't.

Simples! :rolleyes:

Yes.. My posting at the moment isnt what one would call often. I do intend on contributing nicely though just as I do in other places

Subscribing to threads seems like a plan, looking at "new posts" seems to change massively even after a few minutes so I think I will give that a re-think.

Right, I dont know what all this [xxxx] is about but Yes... I would be "Andrew Moore".

In the loop with what goes on in the forums mate, If I wanted daily fail IM guessing I could check out your posts for the lovely sarcasm?

Did the discussion end in Hitler? I got 4 posts down and hit Aspergers and "not normal" at which point I lost interest and couldn't read further. Thanks for the semi interesting read though! :P
