Yep 8800gtx almost on day of release think it was over £450 wow never again, but it has lasted me, come November it will be 3 years old(ish) I my upgrade then, but it still does what it says on the tin, best purchase ever I think over the long run

Think my 1900XT-X was 240ish without VAT a few years ago, never really spent more than that on one item, although I'm not including my 24" Dell which was around the same.. Can't remember exactly!
