All I can advise for that is make sure you can do Time/Speed/Distance type calculations fairly quickly in your head. Other than that it just seems to be a case of "you can do it or you can't" for the aptitude tests.

Thanks for the advise, shall take it on-board. I'm OK with the Time/Speed/Distance calculations now, but shall make sure I can reel them off even quicker :)

Oh god loads of competition then! I have thought about becoming a Police Officer too, down side is most people I have mentioned this to have said they hate them :(

Funnily enough have thought about becoming one in a different country if I decide to do it, thought about New Zealand and Australia.
 
Hah i was looking at the air traffic controller job, they are recruiting for apprenticeships at heathrow i think. Really good pay ;)
