Hello folks,
decided as I was going to dip a toe in the overclocking pond that it was worth while registering with these forums...
Now, I've recently bought the following;
Antec 900 case
650W Be Quiet Dark Power PRO PSU
6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3(PC3-12800 (1600MHz), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-9-9-24)
Noctua NH-U12P SE1366
Asus P6T SE, Intel X58
Intel Core i7 920, D0 (SLBEJ)
Now I'd like to overclock the 920, and was wondering how well the P6T will deal with this, and I noticed the board comes with some software that claims I can do voltage changes etc without needing to reboot... is this software any good? Is it going to make it easier for a newbie like me to get to grips with the arcane art of overclocking? *grin*
Also once I have the components in my new system, I will be transferring across my GTX295, I was assured the PSU would be fine for what I was sticking in the case, but happy to take onboard people's opinions..
Finally anyone has experience with this case, GFX card and the Notcua? Looks like it might be a bit tight.
