This was at a time when Gousto were giving regular stock pots, which has now changed - but HelloFresh was the outlier at the time using its own branded stock which I found was very salty. They all use their own recipe stock now which is probably a mix of MSG and heroin to keep you coming back.

Ah ok, its ok these days salt wise but its still crap in all the ways Ive mentioned. The only good thing about it over Gusto in my experience is that the delivery dates are a lot more flexible. We like getting our deliveries on a Sunday as Sundays tend to be lazy affairs so we dont have to ensure we are in to take the delivery

edit: Just looked at Mindful Chef and I feel like I have to wear sandals just to look at the menu

As above, HelloFresh is the worst of the bunch. Gousto is much more bearable (but still, convience being the biggest factor).

If you want to try one that is really worth trying - give Mindful Chef a go.

Mindful chef is very expensive and personally. I find the meals a little poncy. Organic and vegan very much the buzzwords here

It is indeed super expensive and the food is very poncy. Nice treat though! I had some cracking meals out of it.

Definitely not a long term buy though - too expensive and too long to cook.
