Hello P67 :)

Why would any serious gamer want onboard graphics , they have to be pants dont they? Assuming all enthusiasts play games that is !

Reportedly the new integrated GPU on the Sandy Bridge chips is actually leaps and bounds better than the last iteration and in some cases beat the low end discreet gpus.

To assume that everyone who wants a fast chip needs a big gpu is assuming that the hardcore enthusiast gamer market is far larger than it actually is.

Looking at those Asus boards, I'm wondering what prices we can expect to see.

EDIT: Without looking too hard I found these prices

P8P67 Deluxe £171.15
P8P67 Pro £136.34
P8P67 £118.56

Will be interesting to see the performance delta between the three.

Hope there are some mATX boards in at release, tempted to pick up an i3 SB and a P67 board.

Any idea how high up the P67 tree you need to go to get full SLI? I.e. both lanes at x16?

The Asus Maximus IV Extreme I believe has an additional Nvidia chip to allow 16x16 or 16x8x8. But 16x16 isn't available as standard on a p67 or h67 chipset.
