Hi everyone.

I've just built my first ever pc for my fella who comes out of hospital this weekend (hopefullly).

He's massively into pc's and gaming and he needed a new one so I thought I would learn about them and build him one.

I've built it and it seems to work fine.

Now all I have to do is overclock it, so I've joined this forum.

I realise I can do down the route of the auto-overclock but that feels like cheating.

Hope you don't mind if I stick around and lurk, reading all your input. :D

Just thought I'd say hi as it would be rude not to. xx

He's been in for months now so it was a well deserved pressie. Besides, I' love buying them :D

I ended up getting him (and remember 2 months ago I didn't know a thing about pc's. I'm not exaggerating) so if anything's really bad please don't yell at me:

Good choice of components, I recommend you head over to the overclocking section for your question as you will receive a warmer response. :)
 
:D wow, youve done really well, for someone to learn about components in a short time (Y) congrats, yeah, as monkeynut said, get into the overclocking forums, they will help you no end :D
